As the world grows quieter and darker, Wintering Well offers a sanctuary of warmth and reflection.
Across five months, we’ll follow the slow rhythm of the season — grounding, nourishing, and gently preparing for renewal through Ayurveda, yoga, sound, and rest.

As the days draw in, Wintering Well invites you to slow down, soften, and turn toward the quiet beauty of the season.
Through Ayurveda, yoga, sound, and ancient seasonal wisdom, we’ll tend to body, mind and spirit, learning the art of true restoration.
November — The Art of Slowing Down
As autumn fades and the air cools, we begin by arriving into stillness.
This month is an invitation to pause, root, and listen inward.
We’ll soothe the restless winds of vata through warmth, rhythm and ritual - finding steadiness in simplicity.
Think: slow flow, grounding yin, nourishing foods, oil massages, and the simple grace of doing less.
December — Light in the Dark
At the darkest point of the year, we turn toward the light that never leaves us.
December’s gatherings are candlelit, reflective, and infused with gentle warmth.
Through restorative yoga, sound baths and Ayurvedic rituals, we’ll tend our inner flame and find radiance amidst the hush of winter nights.
A month to rest, reflect and remember your own glow.
January — Nourish + Restore
The new year begins not with resolutions, but with replenishment.
This is the month to feed your body and spirit with softness, stillness and care.
We’ll focus on deep rest, digestive reset, and rebuilding ojas — your inner vitality and glow.
A season of soup, slow breath, and the quiet renewal that only winter can offer.
February — The Heart of Winter
Midwinter invites us to gather warmth from within and around us.
We turn toward the heart, through movement, music, reflection and connection.
Expect gentle flows, yin for the lungs and heart, and a sound bath to soften emotional residue.
A month for compassion, community, and keeping the hearth burning bright.
March — Awakening + Renewal
As the first green shoots appear, our bodies begin to stir too.
March carries the medicine of clearing and awakening, a time to release heaviness and prepare for new beginnings.
We’ll support the body’s natural spring renewal through invigorating flows, breathwork, sound, and Ayurvedic cleansing wisdom.
A month to lighten, lift, and emerge renewed.

Yoga
Join us for 2 live online yoga classes per month, inspired by the seasons, Ayurveda, and Chinese Five Element theory. Sessions will include a mixture of slow flow, yin and restorative yoga, as well as gentle breathwork (Pranayama). Live sessions will be on Mondays at 8pm UK time, or watch the replay.
Ayurvedic self-care practices
Ayurvedic wisdom gives us guidance on how best to nourish our bodies and minds in the changing seasons. There will be self-care rituals, recipes, and dietary and lifestyle practices.
Yoga Nidra
Each month, you will receive an exclusive yoga nidra guided relaxation audio.
Sound Journey
We will share one nourishing sound journey live online each month. Sessions will be live on Monday evenings 8pm UK time, or catch the replay.
Weekly email
Regular journalling prompts, reading recommendations, music playlists and musings to help you go deeper on your journey.
Who This is For
This group journey actively welcomes members with different spiritual / religious backgrounds (and none), sexualities, gender identities, races/ethnicities, and socioeconomic realities. The expectation is that we come together to rest, tend to ourselves and share our experiences in a supportive container, respecting and holding each other’s diverse experiences and opinions with mutual respect and kindness.
Cost
This Winter wellness journey is offered on the basis of dana, a Buddhist practice meaning generosity and mutual support.
Voluntary contributions are gratefully accepted by PayPal.
Suggested: £108 for the 5 month journey. You can pay in one amount or monthly / weekly installments.

Each month there will be 2 live yoga classes and 1 live sound journey held on Zoom. These sessions will be recorded and uploaded if you can’t attend live, or want to revisit the sessions again.
There will also be weekly emails with a focus practice, ingredient or daily ritual, journalling prompts and reading recommendations.

The two live yoga classes and one sound journey each month take place on Monday evenings at 8pm UK time.

The live sessions will always be recorded and uploaded for you in case you can’t attend live or want to revisit the sessions.

Ayurveda is the sister science to yoga, coming from ancient India. It is a holistic system of healing and wellness, and seasonal living plays a big part.

It is entirely up to you how much of the content you have time to engage with. This offering is intended to be uplifting, not a heavy lift. The journalling practices, Ayurvedic advice and live sessions will not take more than 1-2hrs per week, but you may choose to spend more or less time than this, as your schedule permits.

The yoga practices are tailored to the season, but will generally be a mixture of slow flow, yin and restorative. Some gentle breathwork will be included. The yoga sessions will be accessible and lots of options will be given.
